Climb aboard a BioBus Mobile Lab at NYC Parks & Rec Highbridge Earth Day Celebration at Raoul Wallenberg Playground (142 Laurel Hill Terrace, New York, NY 10040) in Highbridge Park. Our Community Scientists will show you how to use one of our high-powered microscopes to explore samples of bugs, plants, dirt, water, and other organic matter from your neighborhood! Stop by anytime for a quick 5 minute exploration or stay for 30 minutes (or even the entire event!) for a variety of science experiences.

This event is in collaboration with Assemblymember De Los Santos, who will have information available, and NYC Parks as part of their month of Earth Day events. There will be also be a Seed Workshop with Uplift NYC at Wallenberg Playground and other events in Highbridge Park.

BioBus events are primarily designed for k-12 students, with a variety of options available based on student age, interests, and experience with science. Families and other scientists have a great time too!
